News Updates

At the Glyndwr 2019 AGM Beverly Taylor offered to come forward as our new secretary for 2020. However Beverley has since decided that she could not take on further committments because of her other Bowling positions as Prestatyn Highbury Secretary and Welsh ladies coordinator. The association recognises the issues of those within the Bowling Community coming forward to act as administrators, however without members coming forward to work for clubs, leagues and associations then the game will be much worse off. So the Glyndwr Bowling Association needs a new secretary for 2020. If interested please contact Roy Mills via the Contact Us page of this website for further information or one of management committee members. At the meeting we were pleased to welcome Jack Hunt to the Management Commmittee.

The 2020 WCGBA AGM will be held at the Nova Centre in Prestatyn on Saturday February 15th at 2pm. At the meeting Jack Hunt will accept the nomination from Glyndwr to be the Deputy president of the WCGBA for 2020. We all wish Jack a successful year in this position before he becomes president in 2021.
